Tropical Computers was formed in 2005 by Daniel Ladlow, to meet the needs of small and medium business in Darwin & Outer Regions.
Focused on the Information Technology needs of small & medium business, Tropical Computers quickly outgrew the home office, and soon was based in Winnellie with the ShoreLands Group, before moving to their own offices on Coonawarra Road.
Daniels management experience was gained after running the family business Tropical Fisheries (a professional fishing operation) prior to 2005. This, coupled with his love of computers and I.T., brought about the birth of Tropical Computers.
The Shark Logo of Tropical Computers is the same logo used in Tropical Fisheries, thus the family business line brand.
